I’m French, but have been living in the UK for almost 8 years now – a place love and have called ‘home’ from pretty much day #1.

Then lockdown happened, and this weird thing started happening to me. I was suddenly desperate to go back ‘home’ home, and found myself really missing my native land of cheese and wine and obscure music that no one but us French can understand.

So here it is, a little mix of 70+ years of French music, classics and more recent stuff, for me (and you) to listen to until I can go back there – and immediately remember why I love the UK so much.

Turns out there’s nothing quite like a lockdown to make you miss home.
